We Specialise in a Masterbatches.
We specialise in Masterbatches for Engineering Plastics like Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), Nylon etc. We majorly deal with White, Black and Colored Masterbatches.
White Masterbatches (40% to 70% Tio2 loading)
Opal White Masterbatch is made from high-quality, micronized Titanium Dioxide, as well as a particular base resin and additive, for maximum applicability in end applications. White masterbatch is added to the polymers as a colorant, providing white tones. On top of the color qualities, adding the white masterbatch to the manufacturing process of plastics can be used to make any plastic product more opaque and more durable.
White masterbatches are able to provide plastic products with the desired tone and hue, and can also upgrade the product’s durability, overall quality, and product life. This plain but crucial additive is an inseparable part of products such as washing machines, electronics, plastic sheets, and many more. This type of masterbatch can also be used in a wide range of applications, such as lamination, extrusion coating, protective films, injection moulding, and the list goes on.
Black Masterbatches (30-50% Carbon loading)
Opal Polymers provide a wide spectrum of Black masterbatches that comprises a high concentration of carbon black. Its volume ranges between 30-50%. Due to such high carbon black content in its composition, this masterbatch is tailor-made to function as a black pigment in a wide range of plastic applications. Our black masterbatches impart a high opacity and deep, rich color to the end product, together with a strong UV resistance and retention of mechanical properties. By employing varied types and grades of carbon, we can offer diverse grades of black masterbatches.
Opal black masterbatches play a role in key markets as agricultural, packaging, electronics, textiles and nonwovens, wire & cable, automotive and toys. With the clean look it provides, the black carbon powder and the corresponding plastic substrate means it can be maintained for a long time without fading, as well as shielding light, UV radiation and antioxidant products.
Colour Masterbatches from Pantone and RAL shades.
Opal Polymers provide a wide range of Standard Color Masterbatches with an active color database of over 1000 RAL and Pantone shades for all major processing methods, compatible with Polyolefin’s (PET & PP), PET, HIPS & ABS. We have various color shades suitable for different applications. Our Color Masterbatches have excellent dispersion, UV and weather resistant properties, high brightness and opacity, low LD with good heat resistant & light fastness.
In the plastic world, color masterbatch was created to serve the purpose of bringing vibrant and dramatic color to plastic products and their applications. Several benefits that our products can offer include ease to use, high color concentration, good color quality, stable color shade, excellent color dispersion ability, good light fastness, and heat resistance, saving cost (of pigment drain), and processing time (easy to directly mixing when processing), no influence on the environment. Color masterbatch is now applied in various industries and businesses with multiple appliances from textiles, automotive, packaging, construction, electronics and electrical, etc.
Transparent colour Masterbatches. (Dosage 2% in Injection Moulding, 3-4% in Extrusion)
Transparent color masterbatches are formulated for various applications, typically requiring 2% dosage in injection molding and 3-4% in extrusion processes. They incorporate transparent pigments dispersed in a polymer carrier to achieve desired color clarity and consistency. These masterbatches ensure uniform color distribution and minimal effect on material properties, making them ideal for producing transparent plastic products with vibrant hues.
